Jovan Jablan, LLM

Founder and Legal Consultant

is the founder and legal advisor at our firm. He completed his undergraduate and master's studies in European and international law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Donja Gorica, where he was recognized as the top student of his class. He earned the title of Master of Laws by defending his master's thesis on the topic "Human Rights and the Internet in Light of the Practice of the European Court of Human Rights," under the mentorship of Professor Dr. Rodoljub Etinski. Dedicated to continuous academic development, as evidenced by the numerous prestigious academic awards he has received, Jovan provides clients with highly professional and up-to-date legal support, aligned with the latest legal standards and practices. At the Faculty of Law, as well as at the International Studies in Hospitality and Management - Vatel at the University of Donja Gorica, Jovan was engaged as a teaching assistant for the subjects: Human Rights, International Public Law, International Private Law, and Commercial Law. His academic background and experience working in law firms allow him to effectively combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience. His ability to clearly and precisely explain complex legal concepts ensures that clients receive understandable and applicable legal advice tailored to their specific needs. As an expert in international law and human rights, Jovan has had multiple opportunities to contribute to the improvement of human rights protection and conditions in Montenegro, in collaboration with the NGO sector. This includes monitoring court proceedings before Montenegrin courts and drafting analyses and policy proposals, particularly concerning the protection of human rights and the application of legal standards from the European Convention on Human Rights. Jovan is particularly focused on the field of artificial intelligence law and information technology law in his work. His expertise in these modern legal areas is especially important given the increasing challenges in regulating digital technologies and protecting rights in the digital environment. Jovan has participated in numerous significant scientific conferences and training sessions, where he has gained a deep understanding of the legal aspects of artificial intelligence and information technology. Andrea Mićanović, LLM

Founder and Legal Consultant

is the founder and legal advisor at our firm. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law at the University of Montenegro as the top student of her class. She earned her Master of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Donja Gorica, by defending her master’s thesis in the field of arbitration law, titled “The Institute of Arbitrability with Special Focus on its Regulation in Montenegrin Law,” under the mentorship of Professor Emeritus Mihajlo Dika. Andrea is currently engaged as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law at the University of Donja Gorica, where she teaches courses in Company Law, Commercial Law, and Financial Law. This experience has provided her with a deep understanding of the legal frameworks essential for business operations, as well as the ability to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills in addressing complex legal issues. In addition to her specialization in civil law - particularly commercial law, Andrea has gained significant experience in international law and human rights through her work in both academia and law firms. As the Program Manager at the Center for Democracy and Human Rights (CEDEM), Andrea worked on improving the Montenegrin judicial system's alignment with international standards, especially in the area of human rights. Her work involved organizing training sessions for judicial officers, monitoring trials in Montenegrin courts, and drafting analyses and policy proposals regarding the state of human rights in Montenegro. Andrea has also been actively involved in numerous non-governmental, regional, and international organizations, where she has frequently held managerial positions. Her ten years of experience in the civil sector have enabled her to build a wide network of contacts across various spheres of society and gain insight into legal and political processes at the regional and international levels. This experience has equipped Andrea with exceptional organizational and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to effectively lead projects that contribute to the advancement of legal standards and human rights. With her broad base of knowledge and experience, Andrea Mićanović combines rich theoretical knowledge and practical skills from various legal fields in her work. This allows her to provide comprehensive and strategically grounded legal advice tailored to the specific needs of clients and aligned with the latest legal standards and practices.
